Welcome to Millstreet

Millstreet Development Group (MDG) was established in October 2010 to promote business, shopping, tourism and industry in Millstreet and surrounding area's.  It quickly became apparent that to effectively do this, it would also be necessary to view all aspects of the community - economic, social, education, tourism and environment. To deal with these diverse areas a number of sub-groups were formed:

  • Retail
  • Tourism
  • Services & Industry

In addition to these sub-groups, a number of working groups have also been established staffed by people with expertise and interest in specific areas.
These include:

  • Town Square Renewal
  • E-Millstreet
  • Signage
  • Marketing
  • Web Site

The overall objective is to establish a long range growth plan with a focus on balanced development.  It provides a forum where anyone living in the area can become involved in the development of the town.

MDG will support existing businesses and will seek to attract stable, new businesses which would completment those already in operation
